INTRODUCTION：

After leaving hometown for many years,Mr. Sunny Sukardi, CEO of Indonesian Street City,did not see significant changes in Batu Licin. Then he decided to use his knowledge from working overseas experiences, to develop the potential of his hometown, Wakcopek, Batu Licin, Bintan. He aims to improve the location by empower the natural resources so that he could improve the quality of living standard of local people. The idea of Indonesian Street City came when Mr Sunny realized how beautiful his hometown, Wakcopek. If he could do more by bring in more investors to his hometown, he could create 10,000 to 30,000 employment opportunity on various sectors.

To make this happen, Mr Sunny plans to create trading activities in this region so that many other sectors of activities will continue to develop as this location grow. The concept of this mega project is to build a satellite city of Bintan. The minimum effective size of this project is 200 to 700 Ha, so that the region can be developed. The city itself consists of trading center, commercial, housing, market, retail and mall, hotels and resort, hospital, schools, university, worship places, recreation facilities, and other supportive facilities. This region will be called "INDONESIAN STREET CITY".

After he got all the ideas, he brought up this subject to his friends in China. He told them how beautiful and potential his hometown is, he introduced Indonesia and brought his friends to invest in Wakcopek, Batu Licin, Indonesia. After several tries, he finally got investors that interested to invest and develop his hometown. The first development are infrastructures, trading center, mall, housing and villa, hotel and convention center. Mr Sunny also proposed to the China government, as the result he successfully got the Memorandum of Understanding on "Sister City" between Bintan and Linyi city, in China on December 2013 in city plan and urban planning.

在完成所有的构想后，他把这个课题带到中国与他的朋友一起探讨。告诉那些中国朋友，他的家乡印度尼西亚是如何的美丽以及富有发展潜力，努力地介绍印度尼西亚并且带领朋友去印尼巴都丽晶Wakcopek投资。经过几番努力之后，终于得到一些投资者对他家乡的投资兴趣。于是率先发展基础设施，如：交易中心、商场、住宅和别墅、酒店和会展中心等。经过努力，印尼街城还得到中国政府的支持， 2013 年12 月，民丹岛领导人与中国山东临沂领导人会面，共同探讨彼此对城市的规划，并签订“友好城市意向书”协议，结为“姐妹城市”。

The master project of Indonesian Street City (ISC), is under the full support from Indonesian government policy.
