Sunny Sukardi is the CEO of the TH Groupand, as a supporter of Indonesia’s Ministry of Trade, is a representative of the China Indonesia Furniture Association and a member of the "Indonesian Street" planning committee.

He was born in a small fishing village in Indonesia, in 1962, and, by 1980, was a construction worker in Singapore, where his hard working attitude and leadership skills helped him establish the EJYoung Group, in 1985. It was involved in investment in such areas as realestates and construction. In 1990, he was voted a member of the "Top Ten Young Outstanding Entrepreneurs" in Singapore for his outstanding work.

In 2000, Sukardi established the Sun City Group Holding Co, which got wood and flooring from Indonesia for China, and he dealt with various investment projects in China. In 2008, he opened the "Indonesian Street - Indonesian Home and Lifestyle Center" in Shanghai and, a few years later, added branches and franchises in the cities of Beijing,Nanjing, Hangzhou, Kunming, and Macao.

Sukardi believes that one of his responsibilities is to contribute to society, so, on Jan 1, 2011, he set up theTH Caritas Foundation in Macao and began donating a certain percentage of Sun City's annual profits to the foundation to assist new graduates, retirees,and former inmates to help them integrate back into society.

He now focuses much of his efforts on the Indonesian Street City, a modern lifestyle center for tourism, living, and trading on Bintan Island, Indonesia. He also plans to invest in airport runway sand other infrastructure in the country’s cities to create a better public transportation network.

Another goal is to make Sun City one of theTop 500 Enterprises in the world by 2020.
